One of the greatest cornerbacks in history, Green played a whopping 20 seasons in the NFL before finally retiring at age 42. Green was a 7-time Pro Bowl selection and was named to the NFL 100th Anniversary team. However, it was the post season where his play was truly memorable. The Washington teams Green was a part of in the 1980s and early 1990s were some of the best the NFL has ever seen, which resulted in him participating in huge playoff games almost every year. Most of these situations required Green to contain the other team’s primary receiving treat. For his career, Green played in 18 playoff games, during which he recorded 6 interceptions and scored 2 touchdowns. He won Super Bowls with Washington in 1988 and 1992.
