Alek Manoah

Pitchers are often ignored in the sports card hobby, but Alek Manoah of the Blue Jays is worth watching.  In 2021, he debuted as a 23-year-old and finished with 9 wins, 2 losses, and an earned run average of 3.22.  So far in 2022, Manoah has won 8 games, lost only 1, and maintained an earned run average below 2.00.  Obviously, this is a small sample size, but the early performance for this youngster has been impressive.

Manoah’s first Bowman Chrome is from 2019 and his Topps Chrome rookie was part of the 2021 Update set.  Raw versions of both cards can be found for less than $10.
