“The Big Dipper” is universally regarded as one of the greatest basketball players in history.  He the only NBA player to have scored 100 points in a single game and to have averaged 50 points per game for a season.  Chamberlain was also a 2-time NBA champion, 4-time MVP, and a 13-time All-Star.  Finally, his career averages are 30.1 points and 22.9 rebounds per game.  Again, those are per game averages for his career.  Mind-boggling.
