Basketball Hall of Fame: 1980

West was a 14-time All-Star and won a championship in 1972 with Los Angeles.  His silhouette is used on the NBA logo.  Although not a rookie, I love his 1971 Topps card.  With vibrant colors and stylized script, this edition captures the Hollywood glitz and glamour frequently associated with the Lakers.
