Sharing a draft class with Luka and Trae, Ayton tends to get lost in the collecting world.  In addition, ankle injuries his rookie season and a drug suspension his second year created questions about his ability to perform at the NBA level.  Ayton has addressed some of these concerns this season, averaging 16 points and 11 rebounds per game, while Phoenix has accumulated 23 wins.  Ayton’s NBA Hoops rookie at $20 in PSA 9 is worth considering.  It is also important to note that his Panini Prizm rookie in PSA 9 has a current eBay buy it now of $24.  If you are high on Ayton, the Prizm is likely the card that you want to purchase.   A Prizm rookie selling for only $4 more than a Hoops rookie in the same grade, shows how unusual the NBA card market is right now, as well as how much the demand has softened for Prizm base over the last several months.
