With the season half-over, collecting interest in football cards has intensified.  At the forefront of this is the quarterback position.  In this article, we will look at the top passer on each team in the NFL’s Northern Divisions and determine if it is most prudent to buy, sell or hold the cards of that player.

Verdict: Sell

After winning NFL MVP last season, Jackson has regressed in 2020.  It appears that the Ravens are attempting to keep him in the pocket more, which has negated some of his dynamic playmaking ability.  It will be interesting to see if Jackson can make the transition to be a more effective passer, or if he can stay healthy running around as much as he did in his MVP year.  NFL history is littered with quarterbacks who could not pull this off.  In my mind Jackson is the next Colin Kaepernick, Robert Griffin III, Cam Newton or Randall Cunningham.  These were all run-focused quarterbacks who had a couple of good seasons before being injured and/or turning into average NFL performers.  I believe Jackson is on this same path, which is why he is a sell for me.
