RJ Barrett

2019-20 Panini Prizm #250

Barrett is one of the more polarizing young players in the NBA.  You either love him or hate him.  I am part of the former group.  While I would like to see RJ shoot at a higher percentage, there is tremendous potential in his game.  In 2021-22, Barrett averaged 20 points per game in his third season as a professional.  His is only 22 years-old and in early October signed a four-year $120 million contract extension with the Knicks.  Clearly Knicks management believes in Barrett and his ability to become a star in the Big Apple.  Given this, RJ’s cards seem like a clear opportunity to buy low in comparison to some of the other players on this list.  In PSA 9, a Barrett Prizm rookie costs $15, while PSA 10 copies are approximately $30.

How about you? Are you excited for another NBA season? Are there players you believe that the collector market is overlooking? I would love to hear from you! Please leave your comments in the section below.
