After battling injuries in 2020, Ekeler turned in a Pro Bowl performance in 2021 when he finished in tie for the NFL lead in total touchdowns with 20.  In addition, his 1,500 yards from scrimmage led a Chargers offense that seems primed for more fireworks in 2022.  

Ekeler was an undrafted free agent out of Western State in Colorado, proving that if you can play, NFL scouts will find you.  However, this makes his rookie cards slightly more difficult to track down, as he does not appear in all the flagship sets like the other players on this list.  One set that does include Ekeler is 2017 Panini Select.  A PSA 9 Concourse copy of his rookie from this set runs $95.
