McCarthy will start the season under center for what might be Head Coach Jim Harbaugh’s best team in his time at Michigan.  In 2022, McCarthy started the year in a position battle with Cade McNamara.  McCarthy ended up throwing twenty-two touchdowns and McNamara transferred to Iowa.  The Wolverines will have National Championship aspirations, and to get there they will need to survive a visit from Ohio State on November 25.  The Buckeyes defense is one of the best in the country, boasting possibly four first-team All-America selections.  A raw copy of McCarthy’s 2021 Bowman Chrome Refractor costs $15.
