Graf was the top ranked player in the world for a record 377 weeks and won 22 Grand Slam singles titles.  She was elected to the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2004.  For all of you treasure hunters out there, keep your eyes peeled for old issues of Sports Illustrated for Kids at flea markets and yard sales.  From personal experience, I can attest that they are out there, and the cards inside (like the 1989 Graf pictured) can make you some cash.
