Insert Intensity
Fleer Pro-Visions
One of my favorite inserts from the junk wax era, Fleer Pro-Visions was part of Fleer baseball, football and basketball sets starting in 1991. Despite being printed on low-quality card stock, the portraits created by artist Terry Smith look fantastic, while giving off a futuristic feel. Due to large production runs of the early 90s, Pro-Visions will fit into any collecting budget. Raw versions of most of these cards can be obtained on eBay for around $1.
How about you? Do you have a favorite insert set? Which insert set to you think is undervalued in the hobby? I would love to hear from you! Please leave your comments in the section below.
