Mike Trout

One of the legends of the modern game, Trout has already won three American League MVP awards.  He is now 30 years old, and after injury-plagued seasons in 2020 and 2021, collectors and fans were interested to see how he would start 2022.  Trout has not disappointed.  Through 16 games this season, Trout leads the American League in on base and slugging percentage, and he is second in wins above replacement.  Furthermore, the Angels are currently at the top of their division.  If the team stays in playoff contention, it will bolster Trout’s case in the 2022 MVP conversation.  Trout is almost certainly headed for Cooperstown someday, and the prices of his autographed cards reflect this.  Your entry point on a Trout signed card is approximately $1,000.  I have always been a fan of the look of Topps Five Star, and for Trout autographs, this set is a relatively economical option.  Pictured is his red parallel from 2018.
