Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

“SGA” has been a long-time darling of the basketball card hobby, and this season he is living up to the hype.  Averaging almost 31 points per game, he has been electric.  SGA has also stayed healthy this season.  This was an issue last year when ankle injuries limited him to 54 games.  

Unfortunately for Gilgeous-Alexander, he is stuck on a bad team.  The Thunder have managed only 16 victories so far and it is unlikely that they will be a playoff participant this year.  OKC’s struggles to be competitive could be detrimental to SGA’s card values over time, but he is only 24 years old, so there is time to right the ship in Oklahoma City.  

SGA’s rookie year was 2018.  His Donruss Optic cards from that year are $25 and $55 in PSA 9 and PSA 10, respectively.
