Potential Baseball Hall of Famers (Part 3 of 3)
Mike Trout
Trout is considered by most to be the best baseball player of this era and will be a first ballot Hall of Famer as soon as he is eligible. The only question is whether his acute back issues will allow him to play long enough to accrue the statistics necessary to be considered one of the ten best baseball players in history. Trout’s 2011 Topps Update is one of the most recognizable cards in the hobby from the last twenty years. However, it is outside the price range of many collectors. A more budget friendly Trout rookie to consider is his 2011 Bowman Chrome. This card is $450 in PSA 9 and $2,600 in PSA 10.
How about you? Do any of the players listed here not make your Hall of Fame cut? Are there rookie or prospect cards that you think are better options for the players on this list? I would love to hear from you. Please leave your comments in the section below.
