Regrets, I’ve Had a Few … (Part 2 of 2)
Chase Utley
Utley played sixteen years as a second baseman with the Phillies and Dodgers and won a World Series with Philadelphia in 2008. He was a six-time All-Star and four-time Silver Slugger.
Utley retired from baseball following the 2018 season and will be on the Hall of Fame ballot starting in 2024. Utley’s career wins above replacement total of 64.5 ranks favorably when compared to players at his position already in Cooperstown. Utley might make not make the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, but he likely will be enshrined at some point.
One of Utley’s earliest cards is found in 2001 Bowman Draft. This card costs $75 in PSA 9 condition.
