Chapman is a wonderful all-around player who will likely win an MVP someday.  Look for him to leave Oakland for a more lucrative contract following the 2023 season.  One caution surrounding Chapman is that part of his appeal as a player is his stellar glove work, which at times does not translate into value for card investors.  He also reached the Majors a little later than most players on the Hall of Fame track, and he plays in a tiny market.  However, if you are looking for a frugal way to jump into the Hall of Fame speculation game, the card on the left can usually be purchased for less than $5 currently.
