In four full Major League seasons Baez has made the All-Star team twice and finished second in the 2018 NL MVP race.  He is a beloved figure on the North Side of Chicago for his slick fielding and role in the 2016 World Series run.  Look for the Cubs to sign him to a long-term contract in the next six months.
