MLB Players to Watch (Part 2 of 2)

Oneil Cruz

Appearing in eighty-seven games in 2022, Cruz repeatedly wowed fans with hard line-drives and long home runs.  This power along with his world-class speed made the 6-foot-7 shortstop one of the players fans most anticipated watching in 2023.  

Sadly, Cruz fractured his left ankle sliding into home plate during the ninth game of the season and will be out until at least August.  For those high on Cruz, this could be a buying opportunity.  His cards will likely be offered later in the summer at discounted prices at shows and online marketplaces.  Currently, his 2022 Topps Chrome costs $20 in PSA 9 and $45 in PSA 10.
