In 12 seasons, Durant has won two championships and an MVP.  He has been an All-Star 10 times, All-NBA 9 times, and won 2 league scoring titles.  When the time comes, Durant will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, yet he is one of the most underappreciated players in the hobby.  Investors are likely hesitant to aggressively buy Durant’s cards due to his age and the unknows as to how he will perform when he returns from his Achilles injury.  However, next season he will be playing in basketball-mad Brooklyn on a Nets team that should be competitive.  I would buy his cards now in anticipation of a value increase in the coming year.  As was stated in the Kawhi section previously, the recommended Durant card has a black boarder.  Exercise caution.
