In 2018, Smith suffered one of the most gruesome leg injuries in NFL history.  Over the last two years he has overcome numerous rehabilitation challenges to reclaim his position as the starter for Washington.  While this is a nice story, Smith is now 36 years of age and his performance this season has been below average.  Look for Washington to replace him next year.  Smith is a sell.
