Time for a Tokyo Flip?
Serena Williams
2003 NetPro Glossy #1
At 23 Grand Slam singles titles, Williams only needs one more to tie Margaret Court for the most in tennis history. What is not as widely known, is that with a gold medal in Tokyo, she would become the most successful female tennis player in Olympic history. At age 39, a title win might be a stretch for Williams, but Olympic television audiences love seeing a venerable athlete make one final march toward glory. Keep in mind that there are paper and glossy versions of the 2003 NetPro card. For flipping purposes, I would focus on the glossy version as it has a “limited” print run of 5,000.
