After a subpar 2021-22 season with Manchester City, Torres fell off the radar of most collectors.  However, with a move to Barcelona to start the 2022 campaign, Torres has rediscovered his form.  This revitalization has carried over to the World Cup where he has started at forward and scored two goals for a Spain squad looking to make a deep run in the tournament.  His most desirable rookie comes from 2019-20 MegaCracks.  PSA 9 versions of this card cost $60, while PSA 10 copies go for $500.  MegaCracks are notoriously difficult to gem, which accounts for the disparity in price between the PSA 9 and 10 prices for this card.
