Although unsigned, Fitzgerald is worth a buy consideration.  He is an 11-time Pro Bowler, second all-time in NFL receiving yards and catches, and sixth all-time in touchdown receptions.  Fitzgerald is in the discussion with Jerry Rice, Randy Moss and Steve Largent as the greatest wide receiver in NFL history, and he will be elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame as soon as he is eligible.  At $100, his 2004 Topps PSA 9 rookie seems criminally underpriced.

If you are considering Fitzgerald’s Topps rookie, be aware that there is a Topps and a Topps Collection version of the card.  The Topps version has silver foil and could be pulled from retail and hobby packs.  The Topps Collection version has gold foil and was distributed in factory sets.  Thank you, Topps, for keeping life interesting.
