In his glorious career, Aaron was an All-Star 25 times, batted .305, and slugged 755 home runs.  He is the all-time Major League leader in runs batted in and total bases.  As much as he accomplished on the field, Aaron is most remembered for his role in the Civil Rights Movement and as a community leader.  Baseball’s annual award given to the game’s best offensive player is named in his honor.
