Schmidt was one on the most complete players to ever play the game and could possibility best the greatest third baseman of all-time.  In 18 seasons with the Philadelphia Phillies, he was a 12-time All-Star, 10-time Gold Glove winner, and 3-time National League MVP.  Schmidt will be forever remembered in the City of Brotherly Love for leading the Phillies to a World Series title in 1980.
