White wreaked havoc on NFL offenses for 15 seasons, during which he was selected to 13 Pro Bowls and was the NFL’s defensive player of the year twice. He won a Super Bowl with the Packers in 1997, and some credit his move to Green Bay as a free agent in 1993, as saving the franchise. During his playing days, he was known for his Christian ministry as an ordained Evangelical minister, leading to his nickname, “the Minister of Defense”.
