Spencer Rattler

Now a senior, Rattler has battled inconsistency throughout his career.  However, after South Carolina coaches simplified the offensive playbook, he settled down in the second half of the 2022 season, leading the Gamecocks to victories over Tennessee and Clemson and was selected as the team’s MVP.  

South Carolina’s 2023 schedule includes SEC powerhouses Georgia and Tennessee, as well as a non-conference tilt with Clemson on November 28 to close the regular season.  

South Carolina should be on the edge of the top-25 rankings all year.  However, improved field vision and decision-making from Rattler could vault the Gamecocks into the playoff conversation.  Autographed versions of Allen’s 2021 Bowman University Refractor go for around $60 in raw condition.
